We have seven self catering farm cottages on our working dairy farm, which are situated  on the stunning Dorset coastline between picturesque Abbotsbury and Weymouth. This unique part of Dorset is ideal for walking, bird-watching and fishing with the added attractions of the world famous Swannery at Abbotsbury, the Fleet, Weymouth's safe sandy beaches, the Jurassic Coast World Heritage site and Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy.

The holiday cottages are located in the quiet and peaceful villages of Langton Herring and Rodden.  They are personally run by Ann Mayo and her daughter Jane Elwood and are comfortably furnished with features such as open fires, beams, inglenooks, walled gardens and ample parking.  They are 4 star rated by the Tourist Board. Children and well behaved pets are very welcome.  Wifi has now been added to Chestnut cottage and we have created a wifi hotspot in the Old Stables at Langton Herring.

The Elm Tree Pub, a short walk away in the centre of Langton Herring, provides excellent beer and food, has a beer garden and is child friendly.  It also provides a take away service.

I cannot fault these beautiful cottages. Their location is awesome, bang on the edge of a geological wonder! The two cottages we have stayed in have been character-full yet comfortable and well-appointed. We are not the easiest visitors to accommodate often booking late, arriving late at night, asking for all sorts of baby-equipment. But our expectations have always been surpassed by the relaxed and friendly family owners. And all this comes at a price that compares very well indeed with the competition. I wish I could keep these wonderful holiday cottages a secret so that I could be sure to always get that late vacancy, but I feel obliged to reveal how wonderful they are and to recommend them wholeheartedly.
